This releases fixes a couple of minor issues and adds in a new feature to parse the alert log and create a chart showing the number of times per hour a particular event has occurred.

You can choose the time period you want to analyze and what events you interested in.

This produces a chart showing the results.

Please note that RichMonV20 can only access the alert log on the instance you are connected too.

Oracle 23ai introduces a new type of log, the attention log. The alert log have become bloated over the years and now contains a lot of information which you are rarely interested in. The new log only contains messages that required your attention.

RichMonV20 requires

A Java Runtime – version 17 or above
Your database connection details :-
- username/password
- hostname
- port number
- service name.
If you want to connect as SYSDBA you need to use a tns entry, which requires an oracle client.

The last thing you need is a copy of the executable which is only available directly from myself. I only release this to colleagues and customers I know personally, unless your nice to me.
